(*)The Jean Martinon Sonatine for clarinet and piano (1935), a seldom-performed work, is a challenging composition deserving to be a standard of the clarinet repertory of the 20th century, along with other works of the French "Les Six" composers such as Poulenc, Honegger, and Milhaud.
